Beyond the Kitchen
Cabinetry Can Do a Lot More Than Fill a Kitchen
Throughout your home there are walls, corners and underused spaces that could be working harder. The right cabinetry can add storage to a laundry room, build in an entertainment wall, turn an empty wall into a home office, or give you bedroom storage without more freestanding furniture.
Laundry Rooms
Get More Out of a Small Room
Laundry rooms are one of our favorite places to add cabinetry, because even a small space can gain a surprising amount of storage.
Add upper cabinets above the washer and dryer, tall cabinets for brooms and cleaning supplies, deep drawers, built-in hampers, open shelving or a countertop for folding. If space is tight, we adjust cabinet depths so you get storage without the room feeling crowded.
Mudrooms & Entryways
A Drop Zone That Stays Organized
Coats, shoes, backpacks, pet supplies and everything else that comes through the door. Tall lockers, bench seating with drawers below and upper cabinets for the off-season give every item a place.
Where a hallway only has room for shallow cabinetry, we size the depth to fit, so the storage works without narrowing the walkway.
Bedrooms & Dressing Areas
More Storage Than a Closet Can Handle
Cabinetry can create built-in wardrobes, dresser-style storage, window seats, dressing areas and full storage walls. It’s a great answer for bedrooms with unusual layouts where standard furniture doesn’t quite fit.
By adjusting cabinet widths, heights and depths, we make the cabinetry work with the room and give it a finished, built-in look.
Built-Ins
Built-Ins That Look Like They Belong
A good built-in should look like it was always part of the house. Cabinetry gives us a flexible starting point for bookcases, home offices, window seats, dining room storage, libraries and display cabinets.
We combine base cabinets, tall cabinets, drawers, open shelving and different depths to fit around windows, fireplaces, doorways and other architectural features.
Entertainment Centers
Turn the TV Wall Into Something Useful
Instead of mounting a television on an empty wall and calling it done, cabinetry can make the whole wall work. Base cabinets hide electronics, games and everyday clutter, while shelving and uppers make room for books, art and display pieces. It can be a long run of low cabinets or a floor-to-ceiling built-in around the TV or fireplace.
Custom Depths
Not Every Cabinet Has to Be 24″ Deep
Cabinet depths can be modified for where they’re going and what you need to store. A hallway may only have room for shallow cabinetry. A laundry room may benefit from deeper storage. An entertainment wall can combine several depths so the TV sits back while the surrounding cabinetry comes forward.
That flexibility lets us use cabinetry where a standard-size cabinet simply wouldn’t work.
